The Jaggers Group, LLC, doing business as the Institute for AI Transformation (“the Institute,” “we,” “us” or “our”), operates the Institute’s research and professional services programs and the Leaders in AI Summit and Think Tank programs.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and retain personal information, and the choices available to you. It applies to iaitransformation.com, leadersinaisummit.com, our accounts and publications, our events, research participation, business inquiries and related communications.
1. Our research and event programs
Our programs share an operator but serve different purposes.
The Institute website provides research, publications, vendor evaluation resources, professional insights and information about our services. An Institute account allows you to access available account features and content.
The Leaders in AI website supports event applications, registration, attendance, speaker participation, professional introductions and related programming.
Creating an Institute account does not register you for an event or guarantee admission. Reading a research report does not make you a participant in the underlying study. Participating in an event does not, by itself, make you an author, reviewer or endorser of our research or vendor assessments.
We may provide additional privacy information when you apply for an event, request a sponsored resource, participate in research or agree to an interview. Those notices explain practices specific to that activity and supplement this policy.
2. Information we collect
The information we collect depends on how you interact with us.
Contact and professional information. This may include your name, email address, telephone number, company, job title, industry, professional interests and information you provide about your responsibilities or organization.
Account information. This includes account identifiers, profile information, access status and preferences. If you use a sign in provider, we receive information it makes available under the permissions you approve, which may include your name, email address, profile image and a provider identifier. We do not receive the password you use with that provider.
Event information. This may include application responses, registration and ticket information, attendance, session selections, meeting interests, professional introductions and communications about your participation.
Research contributions. This includes survey responses, interview contributions, discussion notes, professional opinions and other material you provide for a research activity. Where a session is recorded, it may also include recordings and transcripts.
Communications and business inquiries. We collect information you provide when contacting us about research, services, partnerships, speaking opportunities, vendor briefings or other business matters.
Transaction information. Where you purchase a ticket or service, we may receive billing details, order information and payment status. Payment processing is handled through the payment services used for the transaction.
Accommodation information. You may choose to provide dietary or accessibility requirements for an event. Some of this information may reveal sensitive details. We use it to address your request and share it with people or providers who need it to arrange the accommodation.
Our enterprise research concerns professional experience and organizational practices. Please do not submit patient records, financial account credentials or other sensitive information unrelated to the activity.
3. Information collected automatically or from other sources
Website and account activity. We may collect IP addresses, browser and device information, referring pages, dates and times of visits, pages viewed, interactions with content and approximate location derived from an IP address. Account activity may include sign in events, content access and downloads.
Email engagement. Our communications may use tracking technologies that provide signals about message delivery, opens and link clicks. These signals can be affected by email software, privacy settings and automated systems.
Other sources. We may receive professional information from publicly available sources, business information providers, colleagues who refer you, and organizations that introduce you to us. We use this information to maintain professional records, understand business interests, evaluate event eligibility and conduct relevant outreach.
We may associate information from our websites, accounts, event registrations and communications with the same contact record when we can reasonably match it to you. This helps us maintain accurate records, recognize your relationship with our programs and understand your interests. We apply the choices you make and any consent requirements that govern the relevant use.
4. How we use personal information
We use personal information for the following purposes:
- To provide and administer accounts, research access, publications and services.
- To respond to requests, support inquiries and business communications.
- To review event applications, manage registration and organize attendance, sessions, meetings and other event activities.
- To conduct research, analyze contributions and prepare publications.
- To facilitate professional introductions and interactions you request or participate in.
- To understand which topics and resources interest our audience and improve our content and programs.
- To send relevant research, event and service communications, subject to your preferences and applicable law.
- To maintain records, administer transactions and manage business relationships.
- To protect accounts and systems, prevent misuse and investigate security incidents.
- To comply with legal obligations, address disputes and protect legal rights.
Email subscriptions are separate from account authentication. You may unsubscribe from marketing communications without closing your account. We may still send messages needed to administer an account, transaction or event registration.
5. Research participation and publication
Accessing research and contributing to research are separate activities.
When you contribute to a study, survey, interview or discussion, the applicable invitation or participation notice explains the intended use of your contribution. Research outputs may include aggregate findings, contributions presented without attribution, or attributed material where that use has been agreed.
For discussions designated as nonattributable, we may report themes and findings without attributing particular remarks to individual participants. Removing a name does not necessarily make information anonymous, particularly where a role, company or circumstance could identify the speaker. We take the agreed publication conditions into account when preparing research.
Public interviews, recorded stage sessions and other attributed content are handled according to the permissions and notices applicable to that activity.
You may contact us about withdrawing a contribution or correcting identifying information. What can be removed depends on the stage of the research, applicable rights and whether the information can still be associated with you. We may be unable to identify a particular contribution after it has been irreversibly anonymized or incorporated into aggregate findings.
6. Sponsors, partners and professional introductions
Event participation. Sponsors and partners may host or support sessions, workshops, dinners and professional meetings. We may provide a relevant host with your name, company, title and information needed to organize the activity or an introduction.
We share contact details for a sponsor’s own marketing when you request the interaction or give permission through the applicable registration, introduction, resource request or other notified process. The relevant notice explains the sharing associated with that activity.
Sponsored resources and programs. If you request a resource or register for a program that involves providing your information to a sponsor or partner, the applicable notice explains that arrangement. Any required permission is obtained through that process.
Research sponsorship. Sponsorship does not, by itself, give a sponsor access to all research participants, individual responses or interview transcripts. Any disclosure of identifiable research contributions is addressed in the applicable participation notice and permissions.
A sponsor or partner receiving information for its own purposes is responsible for its subsequent use under its own privacy notice. You may contact that organization directly about its communications and your rights.
7. Events, photography, recordings and interviews
Our events may include photography, filming, audio recording and live or recorded broadcasts. Depending on the activity, this material may include your image, voice, name, professional affiliation and remarks.
We may use permitted photographs and recordings in event coverage, educational content, research communications, websites, publications, social media and promotional materials. Uses are subject to the notices, permissions and session rules applicable to the activity.
Public stage sessions and individual interviews may be attributed to their participants. Separate interview or speaker agreements may describe publication, editing and promotional uses.
Private or nonattributable discussions are treated according to their stated session rules. The session notice explains whether a discussion is recorded, who may receive the recording and how contributions may be used.
If you have a photography or recording concern, contact us before the event or speak with the registration team. We will discuss available arrangements. Attendance in a shared event space may still result in incidental inclusion in general event imagery.
This policy describes our handling of personal information. It does not replace any separate speaker agreement, interview release or event terms.
8. Other disclosures
Service providers. We use providers for website hosting, account authentication, customer relationship management, communications, forms, surveys, event registration, payment processing, analytics, media hosting and business administration. They receive information relevant to the services they provide. Their handling of information is subject to applicable contractual and legal requirements.
Professional advisers. We may disclose information to legal, accounting, insurance and other professional advisers where relevant to their work.
Legal and security purposes. We may disclose information to comply with legal obligations or valid legal requests, investigate misuse, address disputes, enforce applicable agreements or protect the rights and safety of our organization and others.
Business transactions. Personal information may be disclosed or transferred in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring or sale of a business or assets, subject to applicable law.
Aggregate or deidentified information. We may use and disclose information that does not identify individuals, including aggregate research findings and audience characteristics.
10. Retention and security
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, taking account of our relationship with you, the nature of the information and applicable legal obligations.
Relevant considerations include administering accounts and events, maintaining research records, handling transactions and disputes, meeting accounting requirements and honoring communication preferences.
Different information may have different retention periods. Published interviews and event imagery may remain available while used for the purposes covered by the applicable permissions. Research information may be retained for verification or converted into aggregate or deidentified material.
We may retain limited records of unsubscribe, deletion or other privacy requests so that we can honor them and document our response.
We use administrative and technical measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse and disclosure. No transmission or storage system is completely secure.
11. Your communication choices
You may unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link included in those messages or by contacting us. Where available, you may also manage subscriptions through your account.
An unsubscribe request does not prevent messages necessary to administer an account, respond to a request, complete a transaction or communicate essential information about an event for which you are registered.
Where we communicate by text message, you may ask us to stop and use any opt out instructions provided with the message. Requirements for marketing text messages apply separately from this policy.
To change information previously provided or discuss a sponsor introduction, research contribution or recording, contact us using the details below.
12. Privacy rights and requests
Depending on your location and the law that applies, you may have rights to:
- Obtain information about our collection, use and disclosure of your personal information.
- Access or receive a copy of personal information.
- Correct inaccurate information.
- Request deletion.
- Object to or restrict certain processing.
- Withdraw consent where processing relies on consent.
- Opt out of certain disclosures, targeted advertising or processing that applicable law treats as a sale or sharing of personal information.
- Appeal a decision about a privacy request where that right applies.
To make a request, email info@iaitransform.com or write to the address in Section 15. You do not need to create an account to contact us about privacy.
We may need information to locate the relevant record and verify your identity where appropriate. An authorized representative may submit a request where permitted by law, and we may require evidence of their authority.
We respond within the period required by applicable law. Some requests are subject to exceptions, including obligations to retain records or protect the rights of others. If we decline a request, we will explain the reason and any available appeal process. Where you have a right to appeal, you may reply to our decision requesting a review.
We do not discriminate against people for exercising applicable privacy rights.
13. International users
We operate in the United States, and information may be processed in the United States and other locations where our providers operate. Privacy laws in those locations may differ from the laws where you live.
For activities subject to the privacy laws of the European Economic Area, United Kingdom or Switzerland, The Jaggers Group, LLC is the controller of the personal information covered by this policy, unless a specific notice explains otherwise.
Depending on the activity, our legal basis may be:
- Performance of a contract or steps requested before entering a contract, including providing an account, purchased service or event registration.
- Legitimate interests, such as operating professional programs, maintaining business relationships, conducting research, understanding audience interests and protecting our systems, subject to the required balancing of individual rights.
- Consent, where required for particular communications, technologies, recordings or other activities.
- Compliance with a legal obligation.
Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
Where international transfer safeguards are required, the relevant arrangements may include contractual protections, such as Standard Contractual Clauses and applicable UK or Swiss provisions, or a recognized adequacy mechanism where available for the recipient. The mechanism depends on the transfer and service involved. Contact us to request information about the safeguards relevant to your information, including a copy where applicable, subject to necessary redactions.
You may complain to the data protection authority where you live or work, or another authority with jurisdiction over your concern.
For residents of United States jurisdictions with applicable privacy rights, Sections 2 through 9 describe the categories of information, sources, purposes and recipients relevant to our activities. Section 12 explains how to submit a request.
14. Children, external services and policy changes
Our websites and programs are intended for adult business professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information so that we can investigate and take appropriate action.
Our websites may link to services operated by other organizations. Their privacy notices govern their own collection and use of information. A link does not make their services part of the Institute.
We may update this policy as our practices or legal requirements change. The current version will be available at iaitransformation.com/privacy, with an updated effective date. Where required, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent before applying a material change.
